contemplative coach & trauma specialist

about me

I help women come home to themselves by decluttering their minds and getting unstuck, so they can move through their life with confidence and ease.

  • As a certified life coach and trauma specialist, I help women learn to trust themselves and feel at home with who they are. I use a holistic approach, a blend of somatic and brain-based coaching approaches and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to guide my clients in bringing more curiosity and compassion to their inner worlds—so they can experience breakthrough and move towards meaningful change. I like to approach this sacred work with playful seriousness and serious playfulness!

Using contemplative approaches, I’ll help you slow your life down to pay attention to yourself in new ways. Working from the inside out, you’ll learn to navigate your life with more compassion, confidence and freedom— while deepening the relationships that matter most to you.

As a trauma-informed advocate and guide, I also help you unmask the ways overwhelming experiences, loss and constant stress manifests in your body, life and relationships, so you can live your life with more peace of mind.

I’m passionate about helping to demystify trauma and the ways we heal and grow. I also see a great need to create more safe spaces to share open and honest conversations intersecting faith and trauma to keep on elevating compassion. If this resonates with you, let’s talk!

  • In my own journey of coming home, I’ve learned that healing and growth is wonderfully unique to each of us and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. For years, I lived chasing solutions and stumbling down paths others walked and still unable to get to the root motivation of my issues.

We are richly complex beings! And the complex imprints and responses of my body were inviting me to look outside the box to step onto my own path towards wholeness and freedom. As I learned to listen to these signals, I knew I had to start giving myself permission to start coloring outside the lines!

The word radix (rādīx) is Latin for “root.” After a transformative season of trauma healing that allowed me to become truly rooted in who I am, I started Radix Life Design. This is my life’s work, allowing me to use my lived experiences and gifts and share my unique flavor with the world, while companioning others.

Life design is the rich and sacred process of curating an intentional life and living from the best of who you are. It’s a journey of cultivating curiosity and compassion towards yourself. It involves incremental growth that develops and deepens over time, building towards the me you want to be. This contemplative life approach is about continually finding your way back home to yourself and becoming rooted in who you are.

At Radix Life Design, my intention is to hold a wide open space for you to go about decluttering your interior world and getting to the root of what’s holding you back, so you can live with confidence and ease. Through a range of diversified modalities I’ve personally experienced and am trained in, I’m thrilled to offer you this Feast of Possibility.

  • I’m a life-long learner who is rethinking the ways we relate to ourselves!

My road to coaching wasn’t a straight path. I am so grateful for the experiences I’ve had in my life before becoming a coach, as they all inform my work in some beautiful and interesting way! Roles I’ve worn in the past: Hollywood morning tv news assistant, hotel events manager for corporate clients & some very fascinating brides, food server in all the restaurants, gymnastics teacher, party planner, Etsy shop owner, graphic designer and empowered home birther.

I grew up just outside the city of Los Angeles and currently reside in beautiful Ventura County, Calif. I am honored to be Mama to my two beautifully curious and brilliantly creative daughters and friend to some pretty rad humans.

I’m learning to live well the paradox of being a contemplative extrovert and an introvert entrepreneur, and keep at a pace that feels right for me. I’m always growing and stretching as an appreciative HSP (highly sensitive person), Enneagram 4, trauma warrior and grateful, wounded healer. I love to learn and follow my curiosities through ongoing trainings and my next curious read. I strive to keep on knowing better and doing better! Everyday I practice what I believe.

Some other roles I love getting to step into are passionate foster advocate, proud home educator, book-hugger, backyard chicken wrangler, granny-chic maker and recovering flea market junkie.

  • Jesus is my secret sauce! He’s first in my heart— my beginning, my end and everything good in between. He pulls me from the shadows, stands in all my gaps, surprises me with joy and lavishes me with gifts of beauty and grace that I get to unwrap each day, and offer to others. He keeps every one of His promises to me to make all things new. The experiences of his love continue to transform me from the inside out.
